Taxi Drivers 15% – 20% of the fare Taxi drivers are responsible for taking the shortest route to get you to your destination in the quickest amount of time possible.
Skycap $2 – $3 per bag Skycap service is provided by the airport and can be used to provide curb-side check-in and luggage handling. This service is typically much faster than waiting in line at the check-in counter.
Shuttle Drivers $3 per ride/bag Shuttle drivers typically take you from the airport to your hotel or from the airport to a car rental facility.
Uber / Lyft Drivers 15% – 20% of the fare Uber / Lyft drivers use their own cars to transport riders who place orders through the Uber or Lyft rideshare apps.

Service Provider Average Tip Description
Bellhop $3 – $5 per bag Bellhops help handle luggage for hotel patrons when they are checking in or checking out. Bellhops may also be referred to as “porters” or “bellboys”.
Housekeeping $3 – $5 per day Housekeeping cleans your room and provides clean towels as needed along with other toiletries including shampoo, soap and lotion. It is recommended to tip daily considering multiple housekeepers may be cleaning your room throughout your stay.
Room Service Waiter/Waitress $5 – $10 per delivery Room service waiters and waitresses will bring your food and drink orders directly to your room.
Concierge $5 or more depending on the service provided The concierge desk can help with a wide range of requests including show tickets, dinner reservations and flight check-ins.
Spa Service 20% of total bill Spa Services can include a multitude of services such as massages and facials.
Doorman $2 – $3 The hotel doorman will help hail a taxi for you and help you with your luggage.
Valet $5 at dropoff and pickup Valets will park your car for you in a special parking area. They will then retrieve your car when you are ready to pick it up.

Casino Beverage Servers $2 – $5 per drink Tips are a part of the server’s income. Some casinos even charge the server a tax for each drink they order. If you are are not there to receive it or you fail to pay a tip then that server actually lost money on your drink order.
Slot Attendants 1% – 5% of jackpot win In some instances one or more slot attendants will come to pay you a jackpot win by hand. Each person can be paid individually or you can request that they split a single tip amount.
Casino Dealers $5 – $10 per hour This can either be done by placing a bet for the dealer during play or just paying the dealer when you get off the table.

Service Provider Average Tip Description
Waiters/Waitresses 20% – 25% of the total bill Waiters and Waitresses are responsible for bringing you your drinks, food, and refills in a timely manner. They should also be able to help with special requests and address any questions regarding the menu.
Buffet Wait Staff $3 – $5 per person or 10% of the total bill Buffet wait staff are responsible for providing you with drinks and refills in a timely manner. They are also responsible for removing dishes and silverware that are no longer being used.
Bartender $2 – $3 per drink per round Bartenders take your drink order directly at the bar and provide you with the drinks you requested.
Coat Check Personnel $2 – $3 per item if service is free The coat check staff are responsible for taking your coat and holding it for you until you are ready to retrieve it.
